as its my first time on the road with my BT50QT-9 which was delivered to me with 2km on the clock and its now got 130 from going up and down my road lol anyway i went for a spin, and i noticed even on a slight hill, the thing did no more then 20mph!!! i mean i know these are 4 strokes but doesn't that take the P*iss a bit, i hate it when i get cars trying to overtake because theres a very slight hill. Is this normal? Thanks all

All Chinese bikes suffer from this problem unfortunately, my old Taishan was the same.

After i derestricted mine gave it a proper treatment by giving it decent oil and fuel i was doing 30 up the hills with no problem. Also heres a tip.....dont go out on a windy day!!! #emot114# especially when its against you!

cheers dimlol, yes i have got some new 4 fram rollers, but cant put them on yet as my bike has ony done 150km but will do soon, so when i deristrict it, put some decent oil in there, and change the rollers, i should fly up the hills.......

when you stick the new rollers in, it will feel like its doubled the power Mine used to be a nightmare uphills because i could never get any revs out of it But now its revs like mad

sounds good, but wouldn't this put stress on the engine?

sounds good, but wouldn't this put stress on the engine? Increasing revs of any engine will shorten its life a bit! My engine doesn't over-rev or anything! But it does rev at the point where its delivering maximum power, so you could say the engine is under more stress than it usually would be.

good good, so you say the acceleration is twice as much, thats quite alot, i cant wait until i fit them

Well i would say maybe a 30% increase in acceleration from what i had. My Bike didn't have any power when it was at low speeds, it was only when i reached 25+ mph when i had power boost because i had the revs! Now i have a constant fast acceleration from 0 to 40mph I have about the same acceleration as a normal Derestricted 2 stroke with a performance exhaust on a good day. Although theres some 2 stroke's like Phil's Peugeot blaster that my bike will never be able to keep up with Hope this helps you know what the acceleration increase will be like ;D

You could get 3 Baotian's for the price of a Blaster! That way you could throw them away after 9 months and always have a new scooter!
