esure, bless them, won't do scooters. am trying to arrange delivery having paid £85 for it and it's not time specific "there's a surcharge for timed deliveries love" (what on top of 85 squids?!), they had the wrong phone number and only when I chased the vendor did they turn around and say "The courier is trying to contact you to arrange delivery. Please contact them:" Bought a helmet though, www.designerhelmets.com/index.php they were lovely, didn't have stock and called me twice to resolve. Now that's service.

Well, let us know when you get it. Might be worth naming the company if the service gets worse. Presumably they got your contact number through ebay or when you typed it in. I've heard that excuse of having the 'wrong number' too often.

Want to give the benefit of the doubt, but my autocomplete has never let me down before, the number the courier company had was one digit out. Also when I was asking questions about the bike, I would get extremely short answers. "Last one in stock. Polyethylene. Regards" funny as they had over 1500 positive feedbacks on Ebay. I want my !! Update:
It's arrived!
Yesterday, in a cage. I was a bit intimidated and then got to work on the assembly. But am hitting problems, I was given a set of tools by my Dad, but am missing a couple of bits.
So haven't been able to put the spring on the stand. Also one of the brake pads has come out of the holder and i can't get it back in, so putting the front wheel in is a bit of a nightmare. Am beginning to think that I need a man er bike expert to do this!
Anyone know someone who would come and put it together? I don't know why they don't offer that as a service. Alot of lifting and my back is sore, I'm only little.

for the stand spring
put a strong screwdriver in one end and one the other side
stand on the screwdriver with both feet then pull other screwdriver upwards like a reverse acme tnt box
dont over strech you want to loosen just enough so it fits more easy and does not ping off down road when u try and fit it
for the front wheel
put bike on stand (did me back in doing this once) really need 2 people 1 to hold bike back 1 to fit wheel
put a small screwdriver between brake pads(top) lift and slide disc brake into place(is greef) and remove screwdriver slowly then hold wheel and put in bolt
hope this helps

Update: It's assembled! But won't start . Interesting moments on the way to this point. The stand spring pinging off, (did need help for this one), thank god it didn't hit me on me nose. Brake pads falling out of their position and the metal widget that holds them going skew whiff. Got that sorted, after alot of fidgeting. Getting the front wheel on was ready to open a bottle of champagne! Fixing the left rear view mirror, the screw broke and half of it is still inside the fitting. Going to buy a lock today and the guy in the shop telling me that I had wasted my money and that roof helmets weren't very good (I bought a roof helmet this week) It won't start....and other problems Fixing the left rear view mirror, the screw broke and half of it is still inside the fitting I can't get the main head light to work, forget about full beam and flash. The choke thing doesn't disable the engine?! The right brake keeping the rear brake light on after I have stopped applying pressure, it's a wiring thing but when i fix it, it goes again. There are three tubes on the left side of the bike which are disconnected, I don't know which is what, well one it the fuel tube (petrol was leaking when I was trying to get it started. I tried connecting the two fattest, but it's not helping. Shouldn't a light come on on the "dashboard" area when I turn the ignition? What's that green piece of plastic for. It looks great, do have pics on the different stages, but am not going to post until I get it started! Otherwise it'll be an online folly Jen

lights etc = loose connection under the front pannel assuming you had to fit the front pannel as normal from kit there was a couple of block connectors you need to connect check all the the block connections are pushed together there might be 1 which goes no ware this is normal (the wiring loom is the same for nearly all models) bike not starting = if when you press the starter the electirc start kicks in and it wont start your more then likly in a catch 22 situation with fuel lift up seat unscrew single screw lift up small pannel unscrew 2 screws in carb lid remove carefully as there is a large spring the spring will ping off otherwise never to be seen again you will now see a spring, rubber with yellow plasic and a hole in middle and a carb lid see taishanowners.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=mechanical&action=display&thread=1127159027as to how carb will look pour 1 bottle cap full and a bit of petrol in the hole where the spring goes screw all back together leave for 5 mins try and start

It's getting depressing. There are now two broken screws stuck in different places on my scooter. Thanks for everyone who has been posting by the way! Went to register the bike and they haven't provided me with a certificate of conformity, and also going to the local DVLA office will not get you your bike registered on the same day, something else they told me I could do. SO now am stuck waiting for a certificate of confirmity to register a bike that doesn't start that I have already under insurance with the chassis number for a limited time (waiting to have to pay to get that reinstated). Lovely! Am going to name and shame... BTW what with screws breaking and everything, I really want to get this checked out before I put myself on it. Does anyone know a mechanic who would come and do this. Or (here's the cheeky bit, but I think with all the bad things I deserve to ask!) is there anyone in London who would (for a small fee) come and check it out. Jen

Bummer As for the stuck screws, I have had some luck getting them out by taking a screw driver & tapping it into the screw with a hammer until it is into the top of the screw. Then try to turn it out. Good luck & welcome to the wonderful world of chinese scooter ownership

No point - forms have to be filled in in full English, not text speak, so everyone can read it!

i go up kent rarly to see me m8 dont know when that will next be probably be to far off how did you manage to get broken screws lol where abouts are they ? i suggest you take lots of loverly photos and post them can get a rough idea of the bikes worries then photos which might be usefull: anything you are worried about that might be dodgy or not fitted correctly Above the carb (engine) without seat of possible Front wheel both sides of nut and bolt and pads if possible Handle bars (take without front panel/cover on) that way everyone will be able to see if there are any big problems with your build
