Received another jet this morning. I did order just one #95 jet, but i received a #90 jet first and the later on a #95. So Ive upjetted to #95 and there isn't much difference between it and the #90 one Although I'm happy that i have been sent two ;D

Best to just get the #90 i thinks, because i really cant feel any difference between the two. I will check spark plug tomorrow to see how well the engine is burning I didn't make any adjustment for this jet either and everything runs sweet

According to the majority of the posters on the Swedish forum 0,90 is the biggest they recommend. Bigger than that = wasting fuel. 0,88 - 0,90 is usually optimal. I have a 0,88 in mine right now.

If you do get a new jet get a #90. Do the rollers aswell, the power increase from fitting new rollers is brilliant

Hey guys, I thought I'd throw this in, I just got it from an american geely scooter messageboard:
first the jets are keihin and the low speed jet is not hard to find- the correct part number is N424-21-XXX, just replace the x with the jet number. The stock jet is a number 35- ie N424-21-035 this is the smallest lspd jet that is made in this style. jets come in 35-38-40-42-45 etc, ive had good success with a number 38 the number 40 is a little rich. in the stock cv carb the lspd jet controls the fuel delivery from idle to about 1/3 throttle, and yes the lspd jet does have some effect on the high end but you need to balance it with a hspd jet.the stock hspd jet is a number 85 ie 99101-116-085 this jet is not so easy to find as with the lspd jets they come in the same size steps with a number 50 being the smallest. im not sure on my selection for the hspd jet the 88 and the 90 seam to be giving the best results ive tried as large as 95 way too rich.

Yeah the screws on the bottom of my stock carb were stuck too. They're a little stripped now so there's no way I'd ever be able to get it apart without a hacksaw!

You could try a correct size screw driver bit in a ratchet handle. This would give you plenty of turning force, as long as you keep the bit in the screw tight.

I actually have a whole set of 96 scredriver bits, so I found the correct phillips. But no matter what I did I could not get the screws to budge. Maybe the screws were glued in!

WhenI say ratchet handle, I mean the tool you use to turn sockets on nuts/bolts etc.
I think they used some kind of thread lock, after all it would be a bad thing for the bottom of the carb to fall off and spill fuel all over the hot engine!!
