Give this a go before you chew your screw heads up.
Hold the carb in your hand, not on a hard surface as you dont want to break anything and then using a small hammer give each screw a sharp tap or if access is a bit restricted place the screwdriver in the head and tap the screwdriver.
This is usually enough to then undo the screw using a good fitting screwdriver.

Had same problem with 2 screws undoing relatively easy but third one would not move (corroded from road salt probsbly as facing rear wheel). However took carb off and using small sharp chisel on to tap with mallet on side edge bolt it moved a bit a t a time (need to be carefull not to slip and damge carb) ). Various screwdrivers did notwork and head damaged as soft metal. Word of warning try not to take off autochoke as it has a very small o-ring to seal "piston" which split on putting back in, and I could not replace (used silicone in the end to seal). However workingokay now

hey Hypojam, Do you think I should also put on a free flow filter ? I have one . with more fuel shouldnt I give the scooter more air ?

Entirely up to you... All the freeflow filter seems to do is create more noise, the engine burns fine with #90 jet and the standard airbox

Na, my camera is kinda screwed.
There is some fading to some of the paint work, but everything still looks red.
