Hi can any one help, i spoke to beedspeed today about ordering a set of 5.7gm variator weights, they dont have them listed on the jinlun, so they said i'd need to give them the exact size and dimensions so that they could fix me up cheers rob

I tried some 5.7g rollers in my bike, they made no noticable difference. They were pollini 5.7g 16x13mm. As Hypo says, you will be better off with the 4g ones

Hi, mines a Baotian, but the engines are identical, so the lighter rollers will be fine for you.
There is a couple of ways to check for the CDI restriction wire, first have a look at the CDI it's self, The connection block has six pins. if there are only five wires (top row, middle wire is missing), then it's not restricted!
Another way to check for the wire is to have a look at the drivebelt cover, if there is a wire coming out of the cover on the left hand side, that's the restriction wire.
To be honest I think the Jinluns are restricted with the slip ring in the variator. (see the Derestriction Guide in this forum)

how do you attach a picy on here On the left of the reply box (not the Quick Reply box) you'll see an Image Shack picture uploader. Click on Browse, find the pic on your computer and open it. The address will now appear in the Image Shack box then click on Host It. You'll then be taken to a seperate page, copy the first address which says something like Hotlink for forums (1) and paste that address into your reply.

Hey bobian81 went to ABM today, had a good chat with him about the Jinluns/Baotians etc. Told me about your good deal When I walked into the shop i asked about parts etc, and said i was a member on an internet forum. He asked my name, and when I told him, he said he already knew about me and this forum and was expecting me!!! He was reading the forum when I went in! Did you mention me to him? You'll have to let us know how the new roller weights go in the 50cc Jinlun
