Hello, finally something I can help someone with. ;D If your top box is similar to mine then you should have two long metal runners with a couple of nuts & bolts and a big thick piece of black plastic with some holes? Firstly, open up the top box and you should see 8 holes (maybe more). Take the thick piece of plastic and place it underneath the top box and line up the holes. Place a bolt through each hole and tighten with a nut. Now leave it alone while you do the next part. Take the two metal runners (god knows what they're called) and put them underneath the rack that's on the back of your bike with the flat part facing up. Get hold of the top box again and the bolts that are coming out the bottom now have to go through the gaps in the runners and then you put a nut on the end of each bolt to tighten everything together. It sounds tricky and I'll take a photo of mine later on this afternoon, damn district nurse is coming round in 10 minutes as the missus is up the duff.

Righty, here's a pic which will hopefully make things clearer: Click here as the pic is quite big!! In the picture you can see the black plastic piece that fixes to the bottom of the top box but you can only see one runner as the other is tucked right underneath near the seat. You basically have to line everything up so that the rack on the back of your scooter is in the middle. When you tighten up the nuts it sandwiches everything together.

I thought I'd be sliding around all over the place but the bike handled quite well, I took all corners very slowly I can tell you.

Hey jules, that wee top box saved my life this week, i've been keeping my waterproofs in it and lucky too coz it was peeing down yesterday after work, my first time in the rain too, was happy i was dry but no one told me that the helmet didnt have windscreen wipers! That was the biggest shock, i could hardly see where i was going! Anyone any tips for seeing in the rain without putting the visor up and getting flies in my eyes?

Wear gloves that can soak up water and wipe the visor as you're riding.
