port & polish, racing cam if 4 stroke, K&N air filter, Goop the tires, change all oils to Amsoil synthetic, and lastly loose weight (if you weigh less the scoot will go faster).

Its a wonder no one makes higher compression pistons and larger valves some companies used to make tons of specialised racing parts during the 60's and 70's for cars.
With so many scooters on the road today, I thought there would be a big demand for parts such as this.
There used to be a 50cc bike that would do 70 mph and they do come up on ebay from time to time. I think it was a two stroke though.
I will have to look into port and polish though as I know it could be a good one to gain a bit more bhp.
