Sorry chap but they're illegal. The only light you're allowed to have coming from any car/scooter is red at the back and white at the front, neons are illegal whilst driving/riding for the same reason.

You might get away with the amber ones as hgvs have to have side markers this colour. I think some us import bikes have side markers too. Sort of the same thing officer ;D ;D ;D

I once had a look at those LED Tyre Cap things but was warned off as they can cause tyre blow-outs. Can't quite remember how this happens but it certainly put me off.

I wouldn't panic too much, I'm sure your lights will be bright enough. I've got my top-box rear light connected so it comes on when my lights are put on and it'll flash differently when I brake - now there's an idea for you. There's a short video of my top-box light in The Showroom.

I wouldn't worry about tyre flares, I've never been pulled for having a neon and that is more obvious. Even if they werent pleased and pulled you over all you'd get was a slap on the wrist.
