Hi all, I finally got some pictures of my scooter organized... Here is a side shot of my scooter the day after I got it: I have since removed the goofy stickers... The "company" I bought it from mysteriously disappeared weeks later. This is a pic of my speedomoter and tachometer (I still have the protective plastic on) This is a pic from last wintertime. I had to get a shovel to unbury it before going to class! Here is me installing the 80cc kit in the back of my car This is a comparison between the 50cc to 80cc head: This is a comparison between my 50cc carb to the 125cc (too big) carb Here is my old 50cc engine: Hopefully I'll remember to get some pics of how my scooter stands now. I'm hoping to tune the thing after my new airfilter comes in.

BTW, Do you guys have that chrome little pipe coming off of your engines (in the last pic)? I took mine off because my scooter actually came with a plate that rendered the pipe useless by blocking it off.

I think that chrome pipe is an oil cooler, but could be wrong.

I think that chrome pipe is an oil cooler, but could be wrong. Here is a link to what I think it does: store2.partsforscooters.com/s.nl/sc.11/category.169/it.A/id.2003/.fI think It is a pipe that allows for cooling and ventilation of the valves. I have a really good look at it where the pipe goes because I have my old engine out. The other end goes to a little chamber in the cover, but that chamber has no exit The above link says the ventilation is a performance enhancer- but mine was capped off from the factory! I wonder if taking the plate out would derestrict it somehow...

They make the whole engine compartment glow, and it also glows onto the road.
In the states it's not cool to see the actual lights, but it's neat to see the glow and reflections off other things. If you can see the actual neon lights under a car or in the interior, it usually means the driver is a fast and furious punk that plays vulgar rap music too loud and doesn't know how to install his lights properly. Professional installers hide them, it's just a perception thing here in the states.

Yeah if you can see a car's neon tubes it usually means the driver is a complete idiot.

This picture was taken during the daylight, but I think you get the idea... It looks sweet with my new filter, I only wish it worked right!

The scooter works! And it works great! I ended up straightening out the pin for the 50cc carb and I put an extra washer underneath the pin to provide more fuel. I had to adjust the head valves to sort out the idling issue, and then it started right up good as new.
My bike is fast. On level straightaways it cruises well over 40mph. Even 40mph up hills... Just wait until my lighter roller weights are installed hehehehe...
I'm just so happy because it's been months without it. I've been reunited with an old friend! I still have to do plugchops to make sure the fuel mixture is alright, but it's raining so too bad.

Hi all, here is a winter pic from December with my covered scooter in it... It is right out of my residence hall window where I can keep an eye on it!
