Hi hi all. Can you answer these questions for me? 1. What is the N.G.K equivalent for the spark plug? 2. What is the yuassa (soz cant spell) battery equivalent ? 3. My scoot is ment to be coming derestricted wot is the best way to check this has been done? The mechanic said he would do this via the C.D.I and carb and the pulley spacer on the final drive. He did not want to do the exhaust as it is fiddley to do and messy. Is it worth doing the exhaust? Oh the Make is a Ciantco and the modle is HY 50 QT 3 (Sprint). Thanks in advance Hugs and t.c iona
opps p.s is there any other modifications anyone has that might be good to do? hugs and t.c

I just sold the same make and model a few weeks ago' as far as I could see there was no restriction on the CDI, all I did was remove the slip ring from the variator and the brass screw from the carb and th spark plug that was already fitted from new was an NGK C7HSA. I don't think the exhaust was restricted either if it was it was internal. No idea on the battery.

1. See Simar's answer (I dont know!) 2. Check the model number printed on your battery. Usually the chinese code will be very similar to a yuasa one, which should be easily available from an ordinary bike shop. 3. See if it goes faster than 35mph!

My original plan was to use a 50cc so I could drive it on my car license and the insurance would be cheaper than a 125cc, wrong the insurance was either about the same price or dearer, i gave the scoot a quick go round the street and it would only do 26Mph so I bought a 125cc, then I joined this forum and found out how easy it was to de-restrict the 50 which I did, unfortunately as I was selling it new I didn't want to go out without insurance to see how fast it would go after de-restriction. Let us know how fast yours goes after its de-restricted please?
