Yes been doing it for years. Just be careful. Try to stick to roads which have been salted. Leave more room to brake and wrap up very warm.

i would say dont go out on your ped in wet or snowy weather unless u must, its alot more risky and the grip the tyres have is apalling

metlink.org/images/pics/mi060127114948.jpgIt seems the pic has been taken early at the winter. It gets way worse and up at the north, there is nearly no daylight at all. On the opposite, at summer we have nearly no darkness at all. Makes foreigners go crazy when they realize, sun is not going to go down I hope it snows less than 10cm, since that's the height these scooters ride.. edit: oh yeah, that's what's winter at Finland

Yuck! Too much snow I have never liked winter much, but I really dislike winter now that I have my scooter. I have never tried to ride in the winter. I might give it a try this year -I hate having to stick my scooter in the shed & drive my Jeep for 3 1/2 months Nothing against Jeeps-I love my Jeep I just love riding my scooter more I would imagine that you have a much greater tolerance of snow than I

I've been scootering for almost 4 years. I never go out in ice and snow, it's just far too risky. You are a danger to yourself, your bike and other drivers. Rain is fine, just take it slow, leave plenty of room between other vehicles and concentrate like mad !
The only other weather that causes me problems are high winds, but that's mainly beacuse I have to use the Forth Bridge, which closes to bikes if the winds pick up too much.
