i am after some gloves for riding my scoot. all my old bike gloves are either thick and bulky or crap. any reccomendations? i am looking for someting reasonably thin-crash protection is not high on my list of priorities! tia!!

elo, i have soom 'skin' motocross gloves, some cheap and some not but realy good for value not to thick or thin, perfect. so any motocross ones i would say, ideal for scooterin

My friend has some kangaroo skin gloves that are unlined, really light and supposedly even better than cowhide for protection anyway.
If you are interested I could ask him where he got them.

that would be great! i had a pair of"summer" gloves from way back when i had a bigger bike. they were lying about the garage and were filthy, so i think "ill clean em up".........i though the best thing would be to put them on and just wash my hands-wrong!!! all the bloody dye ran out and i spent 3 days with black hands they are now in the bin. i am fine without gloves for now, but i feel the cold in the winter. cheers!

The ones he has now are called Held Akira but were quite expensive. He bought them on ebay.
Before them he was using kangaroo skin golf gloves in summer which were much cheaper.
