"a helm with no visor means you must wear goggles" #icon_WTF#
you're obviously not understanding
maybe you mean, if you choose to wear goggles they should be of a certain standard?

Yeah Florida has some funky laws too. Like you dont need to wear a helmet if you have health insurance, but you better have eye protection on all the time.

There is no legal requirement to wear either goggles or a visor, infact any eye protection at all in the U.K. The law requires an approved bonce bucket, and any eye protection that is used has to be approved as well. You could wear industrial glasses that that are of a greater protection standard than required for the road, but because the numbers dont match up, industry uses a (better) different standard they are still technically illegal.

I just wear a pair of wrap around sun glasses. I took a BIG bee hit (at 40mph)right in the glasses a few weeks ago. Knocked my head back, but did not leave a mark on my glasses. Cant believe it.

Maybe theres nothing in writting but think of this
in the event a stone hits you in the eye and you moe down a small child because you're eye bursts or is impailed with a stone what happens when you go to court besides the complete anguish someone was killed
if you dont wear goggles you're f\/(k£d
