when you buy a new scooter what goes or brakes first? my first problem was the plastic rear mudguard , the bolts came loose and it started to rattle, I fixed them but it happened again, this time I was wearing a helmit and did not hear the noise untill I was parking it with the motor switched of and heard the noise of it catching the tyre, I always say that being able to hear the motor and to get to know the sound it gives is very important, it has to be exchanged ,but it could have caused a lot of damage and maybe an accident the second problem was the twist grip, a plastic part holding the throttle nipple broke in it and and I had to turn it half way before there was any reaction from the motor, which is dangerouse because you do not get instant control, as it is under gurantee the twist grip was replaced and every thing check for free, I did expect to pay for labour , so it was a pleasant surprise is a gurantee worth it?? it can be if you get problems like this and it costs you nothing

Welcome to the world of Chinese scooter ownership . Minor headaches are part & parcel with these scoots. Learning about your machine as you fix said minor problems is part of the fun . My first problem was a wiring connector vibrating lose. As an aside- I keep a bottle of Loc-tite handy for those pesky screws & bolts that come loose. Chris
