That is a good idea! Alas, there really are not enough scooters around here yet. Outside of the university that is. (Michigan State University) There are a lot of Honda sprees & the like there. I have only seen about 12-14 other scooters around here in the last year. & I have seen most of them in the last 4-6 weeks. I think they are catching on & will continue to grow here, but outside of college campuses & large urban areas like New York, Boston etc. I dont think they really have become popular enough yet. But rising gas prices are causing a lot of people to look at alternatives. (As it did for me) If gas was still $2 a gallon I would probaly never thought twice about owning a scooter. But I am glad it worked out the way it did. As I would never been able to ENJOY driving to work. Not to mention meeting all of the fine people on this forum. #worshippy#

scootin, I agree if it wasnt for the gas prices i would have never gotten a scooter I love riding but was always a little afraid to get back on a bike .when i was a teen I used to ride dirtbikes and &build minibikes go cart etc.. But then I had a bad spill on a dirtbike messing up both knees I never thought I would get back on any two wheeler but I really missed it and love riding a scooter so things worked out dmilo

Yep, I would not give up scooters for anything! I am hooked This is actually my first 2 wheeler! As a kid my mother would have had a stroke if I even stood next to a motorcycle. (They are too dangerous : She was not excited when she found out about my scooter #stickpoke# Yesterday I ended up driving my Jeep for the afternoon, (Needed to get the A/C recharged) It actually felt strange to be driving something with 4 wheels.

My parents don't know that I have bought my Baotian, and I'm nearly 30. Well, if I can't get it started it's not a problem. Yes, it's new and I can't get it started!
Dmilo, am trying to find more info about your first bike, i got the bt50qt11 mkII. I want to know everything you did to it! It's a beauty.
