Heh heh ...... yeah, they're pretty thrashy ..... It's not so much the pure speed (my Maj has a higher top speed that the Runner had), but the handling can't seem to keep up with the torque from a standstill ...... I can see why some people find them fun but I fancy living a few more years yet LOL .....
Apparantly the 4-strokes are much better - still quick but a lot smoother.

You're not kidding, I never knew riding any scoot or bike could be as comfy as the Maj - I glide to work each day !! Had her up to 75mph this morning on a nice long straight flat roads that's normally really windy, but it was calm this morning so I gave her her first speed check !

I was looking at the pics on the Honda web-site Andy.... what a machine !
For my next scoot (after passing the practical test, I am already booked in for the Theory!), I don't know whether to go for an outragously comfortable maxi like a Burgman, or whether to go sporty with somelike the Nexus 250 ....

The Nexus is the best looking in my opinion of all the big scoots but............ ..............there's naff all storage space when compared to a Burger or X8. If you want a load lugger I'd rule out the Nexus and get the Burger but if you want to look smart get the Gilera.
