clockwise to increase revs anticlockwise to reduce revs

and if your not sure at any point theres no harm in trying it either way just fire her up n twist the screw u will here her roar like a fierce beast and she willl start to let her energy escape via her back wheel, but just remember the higher the idle revs, the less chance of ur brakes holding u still at the traffic lights, Plus a hint for u all, if ur idle is too high u will hav a trouble with ur electric start, because u are trying to shoot too much petrol through the carb at once, so if you have turned up the idle n it doesnt start next time around, turn it down a notch and try starting her up again, works a treat
