Some years ago I was an associate member of the Federation of Sidecar clubs. At that time we had an emergency contact scheme, it worked by members all over the UK providing details of where they lived [like the guestmap] and listing in the club newsletter what facilities they each had available to help other members who broke down whilst out and about. Like tools available for minor repairs through to even providing overnight accommodation if necessary. Any chance of such a scheme being started here? as we seem to be evenly placed around the UK, it would cost nothing and provide peace of mind when out on longer journeys. I am prepared to manage such a scheme if there is any interest. I can be contacted at: briancannell@gmail.com

just 410miles away in Essex.
so at an average of 30mph, that'll be around 14 hours - wow less than a day!
