Been on holiday for 2 weeks, went to start scooter and now it wont start (was running fine before). I have tried both kick and electric start, changed the spark plug and tried to jump start it but it will not start. It turns over but just wont kick in. Does anyone have any other ideas? I need it fixed for work on Monday!!!. By the way there is petrol in the tank.

ok, take the spark plug out leave it connected to the ht lead then rest it on a metal part of the engine, crank the engine over a few times and look to see if its sparking, dont touch the plug while it is sparking as u will get an electric shock

a loose connection or a duff ignition coil or CDI, theres more fault finding after this step lol
