i've got baotian bt50qt-9 2005/6 model. how can i adjust the front brake (disc brake)? rear brake is easy when the adjusting nut is visible, but i can't locate it for the front.

its a hydraulic system, all you can do is replace the pads or bleed the system and top it up

Firstly, make sure your resovior is topped up to the correct level.If your lever feels spongy, pull it back hard and tie back with elastic bungy over night, this often purges air from the system, it it does not work you will have to bleed it as Alley says. Good luck.

On this topic how long should the brake pads last? My scooter has done about 6500miles and the breaks squeek sometimes but they seem to work ok.

only was of findign out is to fire the caliper off and check the pads , should ahve at least 5mm on the pad
