ok so here's the script: i smashed my back lights but managed to get teh red and orange casings off of suffolk cruiser so i didn't need to bother with the whole light unit. however they weren't staying clipped in and often rattled loose when i was riding. so to over come the idea of super glue sprung to mind..............HMMM!
now my rear indicator has gone and i need a new bulb.
can i get into the bulbs by dismantliong the rear end of the bike and clambering around inside or do i need to take a hammer to it?
in retrospect tho the glue works bloomin marvellous!

Superglue is surprisingly strong but surprisingly brittle.... try hammering a screwdrivier, (not too ham-fisted!) along the glued edge, the brake up the superglue and then give the casing some persuasive pulling to see if it'll break free without busting!

another thing you could try although it only works with certain types of supeglue is to get a hairdryer and heat the glue..some types will become tacky so you can take it off without damaging it

Nail polish remover is also good at disolving super glue
