i have a bt50-qt9 51 plate, when the throttle is pulled back up to three quarters the bike responds ok, as the throttle is twisted the final quarter it begins the restriction process then begins to die, i have de-restricted it (properly) and still have the same problem, anyone got any ideas, could it be a faulty cdi unit? any help greatly appreciated has only done 200 miles. so would like to get some use out of it before it goes to the graveyard in the sky! thanks john

Yeah, me too.
You were going to break all our bikes because we couldn't fix them - you gave the impression you were our saviour!!!!
You can't discriminate between a fuel or ignition fault! Oh dear...................

i am intending to start making second hand parts available to anyone who needs them, as for the problem with mine i tried all the traditional methods of repair only to find i still had the same problem. up until yesterday i had no knowledge on the boation until i discovered the "club" now i have found the relevant information that i had been lacking,as no dealers have any info around my parts, i can now offer to help others in need, who are'nt as mechanically minded, as for "buying bikes you cant fix" was meaning boations that are written off or damaged beyond repair that can be salvaged for parts. i am a qualified mechanic with auto electrics and spraypainting qualifications, boations are new to me as with everyone else you have to learn, but the principle is the same, i hope this clears any confusion...... by the way sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!.......thanks troy, will try plug and re adjust mixture, john.
