Well I had my scoot since october, only used it a couple of times when i got it and it started fine with the electric start, with a combination of family problems and bad weather I only really started using the bike again a few weeks ago, I only have 100kms on it now. Anyway it wont start at all with the electric start, it kick starts fine and Im getting good at it now for a girl! A friend took the battery from it last night and tried charging it for me, brought it back today and still nowt. I know I will need a new one but having no knowledge of these things I have no idea what to buy or where to go! Any help much appreciated.....the simpler the better as I have a girly head on me!!

last weekend my battery went empty and I had no way of charging it on the other hand, I had 2 brand new UPS batteries laying around they fit in battery compartment and they are much more powerfull than original battery (7Ah vs 4Ah) + they don't leak as the original battery does it took me 10 mins to modify connectors and now I don't use screws anymore I feel much more comfortable knowing that I have little extra juice in my battery charging is also much easier and faster - I just put it back in my UPS nd leave it plugged for an hour or so ;D I'll post pics as soon as go back to my summer house wher my scoot is but in the meantime check this link www.batterywholesale.com/battery-store/proddetail.html?prodID=2818I think it's not expensive as original battery best solution would be to buy complete UPS so u can charge it also, check dimensions of battery and battery compartment if u intend to do it because I think that battery I use is slightly smaller than the one on this site - on the other hand, I beleive it might be very easy to modify battery compartment and make it suitable for bigger battery
