leak stopped maybe he (my husband) overfilled it where is the starter motor, although my husband is registered on this site not to good with computers, so im putting all these questions on for him. im what you call the runner really, when you leave a message i run out in the garden and tell him what you tell me thanks for your advice, our next door neighbour builds bikes (just built a genesis) so if worst come to worst as it is at the moment when he gets back of his hols i think we will rope him in. thanks again kim

the starter motor is on the engine, you'll need to remove the whole seat

i,ve had mine 4 weeks and just got it started.Must have been a dodgy connection because i practically stripped the dam thing down cleaned everything and put it back together.Try under the front panel and pull all connectors apart 1 at a time and put back togetther..Also take the seat out and tighten connections and give everything a wiggle. All technical stuff #13#

Any one thought to check the bulb? Start at the bulb, check it, then the bayonet connection, I take a bet the fault is the bulb, myself.

alright mate. They have to repair it or replace it at no cost or inconvenience to yourself. This is stated in the 1979 sale of goods act.If you have bought something and it doesnt work they have to sort it out.Have a look on the cosumer right page and trading standards. Some great info on there.Quote the act to them and tell them it is down to them to pay and not you

Dont let them tell you because you bought it in an auction things are different, as they gave a description of what you get i.e NEW bike, you have the right to expect just that with every thing working, or fixed. Sending back/collection may be at your cost though, lots of companies do this now, they call it 'return to base', or RTB, DELL computers being one of them. Quite often its the return you pay for, they pay to send it back to you, whether this is legal or not might be worth looking into. With TIBS, you may have to get really tough with them, you wont get much out of Jason (mechanic) , you never get hold of him, or another bloke there, but go for SAM the manager & keep on & on &on. It may take a while for them to answer emails so bombard him at sales@theinternetbikeshop, and phone him on 08706092372. It took me months, they are bloody hard work, but get what you are entitled to. Good luck!

no power to my engine, just spent a month trying to get my 04 bt50qt9 to start, finally got it going yet the engine sounds really deep, deeper than usual, and there is no power when pulling on the throttle. the revs go up and up, yet there is no power
