hello i have just recived my new carbon fibre wing mirrors i have taken one of the orignial ones off and fitted my new 1 but the outher is stuck and i cant get it off. the nut part at the bottom keeps spinning but nothings happaning. any ideas? im riding around with odd mirrors at the momet!

If you do get the wing mirror out i suppose you could rethread it using a tapping tool

confusing post, the nut locks the mirror into place loosen this off then you should spin the mirror round to remove it

the nut spins but the mirror dosent move so any ideas? Just casually walk past it, and gently catch it with your sleeve, always works for me, no matter how much I tighten it. #rofl#

yeah i think it might spin the oppersite way the treads are wierd if i rmember put some oil under the bolt leave it for 5 mins then try again

Don't forget that the left mirror has a left hasnd thread,and the right mirror has a right hand thread. You gotta love those chinese engineers!
Each mirror unscrews a different way!

Yea the opposite threads are designed so that the wind doesn't undo the nuts when going along
