if the battery fits the compartment then i see no reason why u cant just leave it there and use that

if it's a Honda battery you'll have no problems. I've had the same battery in my Honda Dylan since I bought it new almost 2 years ago. The bikes been sitting in the shed for the last month as the weather up here has been lousy. I was a bit worried about how the battery was coping with cold weather and inactivity so started the bike up the other day....it started first time no problems ! Honda are ultra reliable.
