Just got my scooter back from the repair shop and he says my tyres are illegal, there is a 3.25 on the front and 3.00 on the back.
This is illegal, you are allowed a bigger tyre on the back than the front but not visa versa, I Havnt changed them since i bought it brand new.
Please check your tyres

Is the Baotian Sport illegal over there then? It comes with 12" frontwheel and 10" rear.

Most cruisers, HD included run 19" or 21" front wheels and 15"/16" rears. Might be the WIDTH of tyre not the wheel size that the legality refers to.

Yep, visible tread only if under 50cc 1 mm for over 50cc and 1.6 mm for cars. Tyres must be correct size for the bike so i would say a 3.25 front and a 3.00 rear sounds pretty wrong to me if i saw it i would fail it too unless i knew this size was the correct fitment

Dont think they have chinese spares on the site so call them with details ;D Our tires have tubes in them, right? The side of my tire says "tubeless". I'm thinking of getting an extra tire and tube and mounting it somewhere on my scooter just in case...
