The fuel gauge on my BT50-QT9 isn't working (it never has) it just displays empty.
Also my horn isn't working and i only have side stand as my boyf put bike together and couldn't work main stand out.
It's already fallen over once cos it was on side stand and some petrol came pouring out (which i assume isn't normal!)
Hope someone can help!

Horn and fuel gauge is probably the wires not connected or disturbed during assembly. It is normal for petrol to leak if the scoot is tipped on its side, probably from carb overflow or petrol tank breather #thumbs_up#

Bad Obseesion is right on! I had that fuel gauge & horn problem on my scoot. Take of the front panel & find the back of the ignition. follow the wires that run out of the back of it. About 4-6 inches down you should find a white connecter plug that has come partway undone. If your electric start does not work then that plug will be fully undone. I had to use some electrical tape on the plug to make sure that it stays connected, because it just vibrated loose again about 4 days after I fixed it the first time. I have also had the same problem on the plug for the headlight. Good luck..hope that helps

Hi, I had same fuel gauge problem with my BT125 T9 - removed said gauge from the tank and gave it a wiggle & a spay of wd40(they sit with empty tanks in the factory & sometimes the gauge gets stuck). Hey presto no more running out of fuel! Hope this helps. If you need info getting into the fuel tank let me know. DD

I collected my BT125 T9 a couple of weeks ago and immediately noticed that the fuel gauge does not give a very accurate reading. It would indicate about 2/3 full when, in fact, it is almost full (a petrol pump would cut out if you try to put in more fuel - altough by hand, it would take a bout 1 litre more). After 100 km, the guage is now reading near empty. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know how roughly how far a full tank would take you?

My fuel gague is a bit buggered. Has a mind of it's own. I have had to learn to ignore it and check fuel before i set out.
