Hope someone might have experienced this one and can help me out? My fuel guage permanently shows a full tank and i'm not sure how to get in there to sort it out. when the tank begins to get near empty the needle on the guage shakes around a bit but that's about it. any advice much appreciated..........

it sounds like the float is stuck. If you remove the seat/storage compartment as one unit, its only four nuts and takes a couple of mins. you will see the top of the fuel tank. the fuel level sender unit can be just twisted a quarter turn anticlockwise and removed, easy to check. I read on here someone else had a similar problem, the float unit was catching the side of the tank, bend the rod a little and problem solved.

Besides the 4 nuts I also have to remove 2 phillips head screws down by the battery compartment to get the seat section off... Good Luck!
