just been giving my freebie taishan a good check over today , just as well i did , on the earth on the battery there are 2 wires , a large one which goes to the engine and a small one which feeds everything bar the starter. this wire splits into about six or so about 8 inches down the loom. well on mine the eight inches of single wire had melted all of its insulation !!! modded with heavier duty electrical cable soldered in also the earth on the engine was crimped on the insulation not the wire , nice !!

Really surprising, I didnt think the battery would have enough power to travel along more than one wire at a time!! #rofl#
