Hi all, as i was tinkering today, i tinkered with the idling screw, now i found out that when you tighten it up so the wheel spins on its own, it doesn't slow down as much when you let go of the throttle, because normally that acts like a brake for me. its because its automatic i think, but i adjusted it back because your not supposed to set it that high. I'm not really sure where to set it, atm I've put it back to where it ticks over but not high revs at all, but it feels like its going to stall sometimes when i ride it, do i need to put it higher? sorry for making a pigs ear out of this lol

set it so that the back wheel doesnt spin fast on its own!

when you say so it doesn't spin fast, do you mean so it doesn't spin at all or so it spins slowly!?

should turn very slowly when at idle speed!
If you can set the idle speed so that it doesnt turn atall and it keeps running without stalling or cutting out then well done!

thats very easy to do, cant you adjust it so it stops spinning then?

when mine is idleing the rear wheel turns very slowly! Its Just a little bit of drag on the clutch.
I could turn the idle speed down a bit more but then its more likely to sometimes cut out because the engine isnt revving high enough!
so my method to get the correct idle speed, adjust the idle screw enough so that the rear wheel doesnt spin fast but turns very slowly ;D

but when the wheel spins, that means the engine is working, and thats not what you want it to do at traffic lights etc is it?

My rear wheel spins slowly because of some clutch drag! when you put the bike on to the floor you cant feel the bike wanting to move or anything!
