Can anyone tell me the correct float height for a Taishan Commuter carb? Also where to measure from and to?
Is there anyone who can tell me what theirs is set to?
Cheers, Dave.

If anyone can check theirs for me.....
Remove the float bowl and turn the carb upside down. Lower the float until the needle valve just seals but the spring is not compressed.
Now measure from the face where the float bowl seals to the highest point of the float.
I think it should be somewhere between 15 to 25mm but I need an accurate reading please.
Thanks, Dave.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, this carb problem is driving me crackers! Up until recently there was only one member with a Taishan Commuter but he sold it for a Peugeot Blaster. Maybe it's the same as a Baotian, if it is then I'm sure one of the Baotian owners will help.
