After I had mine for around 2 weeks it started to rattle quie loud and it got worse! I found out that the mounting bolts for the exhaust were working loose, so I put some 'thread lock' on them and tightened them up and no problem since. I've had it around 6 weeks now and use it most days to go to work and back (12 mile round trip).
You can get thread locking compound from most garages (Halfords also), but the best place I'vee found, and cheaper, is model shops! It's exactly the same stuff just a bit cheaper!

OK cheers mate i will do that, they're good peds aren't they, mine's the same as your's do you find the acceleration is a bit sluggish?
lol. One other bad thing happened to me today the fuel pipe clip came off which caused the pipe to detach from the carburettor and was gushing out fuel everywhere but now put back in and tightened up, should be OK now touch wood.

I do find the acceleration a bit pants as well.
My trip to work is up hill all the way, so this doesn't help me when I'm running late. It's great on the way home though, upto 50mph on one section!
I understand that changing the roller weights for lighter ones will help with acceleration. They are in the variator and determine the RPM at which gear changes take place. I do have a set of lighter weights to put in, however I can't get the bloody nut of the drive pulley!
I will have a good go one day when I have plenty of time, I'll take loads of photos too. Busy at the moment though, missus want hallway decorated before we go on holiday in 3 weeks. When we come back it's only 6 weeks to Christmas!!!
