Hola from Malaga, Spain. I,m riding a yellow and silver JinLun JT125. Bought this colour so that the blind Spanish drivers could see me, trouble is I look like Correos (that's the Spanish Post Office). Had a really bad accident in 1966 and have'nt been on two wheels until a month ago. Now whish that I had done it years ago. Ideal vehicle for parking on the Costa del Sol. Should call myself 'Born again Mod'.

Where did you get the scoot, are there any dedicated dealers in Spain?

Hola Hodgeyboy, got mine from 'EasyRider' in Alhaurin de la Torre. He imports direct and has a good range of bikes and colours. From 50cc 10" through to 250cc choppers. He will be at the Homes and Gardens Expo at the Palicio de Congreso in Malaga in October (homesandgardensexpo.com). At the moment he has a deal on which includes insurance. Don't know if you get the Euro Weekly News down there, coz he advertises in that. I would upload some pics, but can't seem to work out how!!! Dohhhhhhh.

It's a hard life, but someone has to do it. Just to let you hardy scooterists know, the night-time temperature over here has now gone down to 22c and it's only around the 26c in the day. Essential scootering atire - Helmet and suncream

To be honest this is one of the best summers we've had in the UK for years, Its a pitty I just got my scoot on the road a few weeks ago, we are now into autumn and it looks like the weather is going down hill pretty quick. Nice day yesterday but pi**ing it down today up here in Scotland.

I know what you're saying, Simar. This summer I've had every man and his dog phoning me in Spain to tell me how warm it is in Blighty!
Enjoy it
whilst you can
