Hi guys, about to buy a BT50QT-9 for my son who is 16 in October. Read a lot about the value for money, derestricting and insurance so may need some advice over the next weeks as I will be buying one from a place in Newport, Reid-Race-Bikes who have been helpfull so far.
Any last minute advice before I take the plunge?

before buying, have a good look around for pricing. just bought me a baotian 50qt-11, and 3 days later I saw the same one, also new for about 300 euro cheaper.

I have a BT50QT11 read my post 1st scooter first baotian. it does pay to shop around, I saw the same scooter the day after I bought mine for nearly £200 cheaper and it came fitted with extras and an alarm. Also get something preassembled if you can, it's not hard to do and I have had fun, but boy does it save time.
Best
