Hi, I´m a new member from Sweden. Bought my Baotian 125 in August. Had quite a few problems initially, but it now seems to run reasonably well. Just waiting for the snow to disappear so I can get the monster out of the garage. Viking

Wilkommen, Viking!
I'm sort of a reformed Newbie, myself....a few months of scootering in my teens on an old Honda (I think) and now on the verge of my 32nd Birthday, I've bought an retro Boatian to commute to work in my new job when I move house to Spain on Sunday...I can't wait!
Does scootering in Scandanavia present many difficult circumstances?... do you have to use snow-chains? It may well seem like a stupid question but I'd be interested to hear how, essentially the same kind of people drive the same kind of machines in different ways across the world!
Cheers

Hi, and thanks for the welcome! Not many people are using their scooters in the winter! It´s really too cold. Imagine riding your scooter in minus 20 degrees Celsius - you would feel a bit chilly. I´we neaver heard of snow chains, but studded tires are available and are beeing used by a few crazy people. I prefer to wait till spring when the roads are snow free and you can enjoy you ride. Hi and welcome Viking #thumbs_up# I have a question for you my wife saw a dog at work and the owner said it was a swedish breed??? Any ideas its not a swedish vallhund, lapphund or a hamiltonstovare. She thinks the name may have started with the letter R.

Hi, I´m sorry but I don´t know too much about dogs. Here in Sweden we still have a lot of snow, and I can´t wait for spring to get the monster out. Maybe in 3 - 4 weeks. I´m ready and the Scooter is ready (I hope). Viking
