Hi and welcome, #icon_smile_welcome#
I posted my docs to DVLA last weekend, hope it doesn't take too long, then just gotta wait for the weather to cheer up a bit.
How long did it take to unpack and put it together? The time the sellers reckon on ebay is a bit optimistic me thinks #sprint#

Well, the whole thing took a couple of hours. First it was delivered whist I was in bed (working nights) but I was well excited so had to unpack it! It comes in a large steel frame with everything ty-wrapped on or packed under the seat. I unbolted the framework to get at it all, lifted the bike out and dropped the front on my foot. I was wearing a dressing gown & trainers at the time. 'Gosh my foot hurts!' I remarked. It was black for a week. I then hauled it into the garage, that was the first hour gone.
Spent another hour on final assembly & just realised that the rubber sleeve provided should probably go on the sreering column, so that will be another 30 mins. The rear rack was a bugger to fit. Oh yeah, Ive restored a couple of cars, drive an Alfa daily & am an Engineer by trade with a well equipped garage so I've twisted the odd nut. I'd advise to get less excited, take your time & print the assembly instructions out. Don't worry if it takes time, make sure you're happy with it before riding. There's nothing particulary technical, but it may not all fall together.

The springs on the mainstand are very powerfull & eventually go on if you lever the lower hook into place with a long thin screwdriver. Watch your fingers & eyes if it slips.
No real problems with the electrics but I did have to plug all of the column connectors together. One of the spade terminals popped out of the back whilst pushing together which took some prodding to sort. Took a few minutes to realise that the main lights (maybe the horn too) only work with the engine running.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who took a few hours. And it sounds like you had the same problems - stand springs, rear rack I've left the middle screw out seems tight enough though, steering rubber sleeve.
I can't get the front panel centre screw to line up, and the brake light doesn't work for the rear brake. Apart from that all is well - I have ridden it but not on the road yet.

i'd suggest
Tracing the wire comming from the left break not the horn wire make sure it is plugged in on the front pannel
make sure everything is connected in the battery properly and the fuse is not broken
if no other lightes etc work you prob have a bad battery
take of the seat or look under the bike
there are connections next to the battery compartment which might have come loose
if all this fails
take of the cover of the break light and test with a multimeter if power is getting to the bulb and the bulb is not broken
hope this helps

the bulb lights with the sidelights and headlights but doesnt light with the brake, the horn is just a faulty unit as i tested it with a multimeter and new one is on is way so just the starter and brake light to fix, if you check out my post about the empty connection i think this is the starters connection, however its not important, just need the brake light sorted out now ally

It came! So did I! Yep the log book dropped thro' the letterbox today, 6 days after applying. And they gave me an '06' registration as requested. Still no tax disk but I'm goin' to ride it tomorrow, I've paid for it after all! Wish me luck....
