;D Just to introduce myself...I've got a Baotian BT125 T9 which i'm pretty pleased with. I've done about 1200 kms, so engine should be well run in. How can I make it go faster? (it goes about 60mph now)...Here's hopin. DD

No, no, no Don't jump it from a car - it's a tiny battery, Use the kick start, or a motorcycle battery charger!
cb50j, it's a 12v battery.
Stevie42, how many spark plugs have you ordered? it's just that I think you will find only 1 hole to stick them in!!

Hi, I have problems starting from cold (rev's drop & then dies), but if I keep rev's up for a few mins all is ok. Not sure how to cure it. DD

Increase the Idle speed a little, it's just the auto choke switching off. It's exactly the same on mine. I think the problem in these cases is that the handbook suggests an idle speed of 1800rpm, but there is no rev counter to set it to and, at the Internet Bike Shop (where I got mine as well) they tend to set them up idling a little slow.
The best way to set the speed is to wait until at least 10 mins of driving to fully warm the bike up, then out it on the main stand with the back wheel off the ground, and adjust the idle speed so that the back wheel just starts moving, then turn the idle screw back until the wheel just stops moving. Compared to a car, the bike will seem to be ticking over quite fast.

I know theres only one hole for a spark plug!!! But after havin to get the bus to work after being caught short of spare spark plugs i think it would be a good idea to keep some spare ones dont you?

Well, spark plugs are usually very reliable, but I see your point
