Been a chinese scooter owner for 5 days having bought a 750 mile 04 plate Siamoto Favorite. Its been great fun but tonight on my way home the back wheel has started to wobble and the back brake is sticking. I am good with the spanners but have no idea what could be wrong as I am totally new to scooters. Is this a common problem on scooters and are there any places I can get spares? I live in Leicester.

If you try to do the rear wheel nut with an ordinary spanner, it wont be tight enough, as the wheel will turn with the nut. You need to use an Impact wrench, and you wll probably need to undo a few things like exhaust etc to get to the nut.
Make sure it's really tight (around 70 to 80 lbf with a torque wrench - which you cant use really, as the wheel turns)

If you get someone to sit on the bike with the brake on then you can use a torque wrench
