Just been given a 2005 taishan commuter . not new to bikes by anymeans ( i have a sv650 and a kx250 and ke175 ............) but never had a ped before. i am also a qualified mechanic at a honda dealer so may be of some use for boring techy stuff . am going to try a bit of cheap tuning on the ped , will keep you guys posted on how quick the old girl will go. you all seems a good bunch so far. cheers phill

they may well be yamy based BUT the japs were all copying each other in the early days antway, so it could still be a copy of a honda (must admit the engine block looks like an old honda 4 stroke i had in the 70's)
