Well, Took delivery of my Baotian 125 T9 last thursday. Extremely nervous as the only other time that I had been on a bike was at mt CBT on some crappy old Piaggio (5k miles before the speedo stopped, wobbly front etc - and people complain about the chinese bikes)
Anyway, Bought from the Internet Bike shop, by driving there in my car, sitting on the bike and ordering one. They are not bad there, a bit strong on the sales side, but they do get busy and they did register and have the bike ready on time.
It's for commuting and I'm far too terrified to go fast, but it seems OK. 9 miles each way per day to West London.
Early days, so, we will have to see how it goes!

Welcome aboard chap!! Riding a scooter is pretty easy once you learn to be king of the road i.e ride down the middle of the lane and don't get flustered by other motorists.

hear hear, its not easy at first to do this but then you get so annoyed at people overtaking that you think what the heck make them drive dangerously if they want to overtake let them drive on the other side of the road. jules

The main thing is not to let them get you flustered, I actually quite enjoy holding people up now especially when I'm doing 30mph in a 30mph zone. The way I see it is they shouldn't be going over 30 in the first place so stuff them!! ;D

Be careful riding in the middle of the lane! In the U.S. motorcyclists are taught to ride in the automobile tracks. Apparently the middle is not as clean, and there is oppurtunity for oil slicks!

They never told me that on mine, and I did comment that the track between car wheels always looks noticably dirtier.
