Race clutches are lighter and often adjustable so you set the rpm of clutch engagement.
Clutch springs are fitted into std clutch non adjustable clutches to allow the change of Rpm engagement. Stiffer springs mean the engine revs harder before it engages, which allows the engine to build up more power before it gets loaded... But stiffer springs mean quicker clutch wear and tear!
Neither will give more speed or power.... they are to control the power you already have!
