If I am overstepping protocol I'm sorry However I recently bought the missus a Peugeot Ludix Trend, it was a real bargain €300 (about £200), it is less than 12 months old and only has 850kms on the clock. She has never driven or ridden ever. It goes great, but you have to wind the throttle round a fair bit, and then it suddenly bites. It is difficult for me to control, but for her it's impossible. Consequently she hasn't yet dared to ride it. (Have sat her on it with a fan in front of her and I move scenery at the side, to give her the feel) I am not particularly mechanically minded but it seems that the throttle cable needs some adjustment. Can anyone tel me in very simple terms how? I know it's not a Chinese Scooter so I won't be too offended if you tell me to p**s off But you all seem such nice people and so knowledgable, I thought I'd ask

There is usually an adjustment nut at the throttle by the grip and sometimes at the carb too. Just loosen the nut and screw in the tube a little - same if it's at the carb. If it's nearly all the way in you'll need a new cable.
