Couple of weeks ago my Brother in Law was a bit to heavy-footed with my Kick start, meaning it's now Donald-Ducked. At least it prompted me to change the battery from the original so that I'd be able to use the electric start. Bike was off road for about 2 weeks and battery is now in, nice and powerful but scoot won't start. I'm going to get the panels off and keep adjusting the air/fuel mix to try and get her firing up, the spark plug is fine and I'm checking and cleaning it after every couple of attempts to get the unburnt fuel off. Using the electric start for about 5 seconds at a time to try and start her So if any of you have any further tweeks I should try to get up and running again I'd love to hear. Should it be expected after two weeks off the road?

I once rode down Bromley High Street (S. London), with my petrol turned off. My little Yam RS100 spluttered to a halt amongst cars and buses, leaving me frantically kickstarting the thing. Boy, did I feel supid that day!
