I was trying to sort the damn thing out tried setting the valves. New spark plug etc. Took it for a test ride and then problem the scooter slowed down and then a funny noise. Got back, took the rocker cover off and there the problem was the nut from the bottom valve missing probably in the engine? Can anybody tell me where they think the nut has gone and is it possible to get back. Hope you can understand this one better than my last post lol

The nut may well have been sucked along with cam chain if it is not under the cylinder head cover
if it was my scoot and the rocker nut was missing and i couldent find it
i'd take it to a bike shop

Yup, sounds like a job for a professional Do not leave that in there. It would probably come back to haunt you at a really inconvenient time. (I am sure you know that already-but just in case) Good luck with that-let us know how you make out

I found the nut. I got an old coat hanger and made an hook on the end of one side and poked it down under the chain near the valve. I noticed something was there and very very lucky just pulled the damn thing out. I feel like the luckiest man in England. Put it on made sure it was tight and everything is ok PHEW!
