Removed the brass screw in the carb and the variator ring and also checked the CDI for the pink wire but none found (only has 4 wires) not getting a great deal of extra speed low 30s, any other restrictions on this model that you can think of? #icon_violin#

sorry matey The only restriction I had on mine from the guide was the screw no ring on variator 5 wires on CDI what I did find was my standard rollerweights were 8.5g rather than the more common 6-6.5g I've been using 4.7g since 300km, done 5000km now everything seems fine so far ................ C

What speed you getting? Not really had the chance to test fully as its not insured, still waiting on the plates and tax to arrive too.

on a flat straight with little or no wind 50mph(short video in signature bar) I've been tempted to go faster but that would mean going into the red(as far as revs are concerned) don't wanna kill ma wee scoot
also..... does your scoot have a rev counter? with 8.5g weights my scoot seldom managed to get above 5500 rpm with 4.7g at between 7500 and 8000rpm I'm doin 50, think it would rev off the clock if I let it(or went flat out downhill)

noticed on the Giantco scooters page " optional max. speed versions: 25, 30 or 45 km/h"
there may well be different restrictions?

Noticed they only had the 2stroke engine. My 4 stroke must the 45kph version 28mph. Thankfully not the 25kph = 15mph. #rofl#
