Hi and greetings from Sweden!
I have a Kinroad XT50QT-5, made in 2004. 50 cc, 2 kW.
As most Kinroad owners(?) i also have had several problems with my moped, previously i took it to the dealer and had it serviced, but they went out of business because of all the service claims against them :)
Previously this year the moped ran without a glitch, everything had been serviced or replaced on it (completly new engine). But now i have problems with it again ;(
When i start it it is a little slow to start but once i get it started it runs fine, but after 30 minutes of driving it the engine gives up and just shut of. When i restart it the engine works but sounds kinda wierd. Also it will not run much more than a crawl back home.
If i leave it for a couple of minutes it will work fine again, wich puzzles me a bit, i had a guy over to check it but he couldnt find anything wrong. He concentrated mostly on the fuel supply, he put a filter from the tank into the engine to get rid of any crap floating around in the tank with the fuel. He also cleaned the inside of the engine.
One thing the guy found was that the moped almost didn't get any fuel on the sparking plug at first, would this affect the performance of the moped once it has started?
Im certain it is something with the engine or maybe the exhaust.
Im wondering if anyone has found any solution to this problem, i have read some previous postings about Kinroads but they dont seem to offer any explanation to what may be wrong. (A thing such as the Valves can't be wrong beacuse it doesnt even have valves.)
Do anyone think it might be wrong settings on the fuel/air mix? Im not very technical but i hope someone with more knowledge might have a solution:)
Cheers
