Hey all , I recently got a 2000rpm contra spring from assassins but havent installed it yet will this give me any performance changes ?? dmilo

Nope it shouldnt give any performance increase UNLESS ya getting belt slip. Contra springs only job is to hold the belt in the rear pulleys tight. If ya not getting belt slip and you fit a stiffer spring the engine will loose power as some will be wasted in the effort needed to compress the OTT spring. So once ya fitted it keep checking the belt and make sure the edges dont start looking worn extra quickly!

The stronger contra spring will help with acceleration after slowing down. For example your riding at 45mph, you slow to 20pmh for a corner, when you open up again, the acceleratio from 20 mph will be better.
This is because the stronger spring will close the rear pulley better, ensuring you are in a low enough gear for acceleration. The effect of the spring must be finley balanced with the roller size you are using. This setting up can be a little tricky.
