my ped has been backfiring the lot and seemed like it has no fuel kept stoping and starting to me that would be a carb prob shurely so iv cleaned the carb and also changed valve gaps to 0.10 on out let and 0.05 on in let and its still back fireing and has a loss of power will not even reach 30 mph but since i changed the valve gaps feals like its got better acell till it starts poping and farting also it only does this when the engine has warmed up need help here peeps?

mine used to pop and fart now and again but its fien now after i had a fiddle witht he mixture screw ally

where is the mixture screw? i found the idle but god know where the mixture is?

its on the left side of the carb hiden away ull need to look around a lot, its under the big brass cap bit ally

yar i see iv changed that to 2 turns out bike is still missfiring and backfireing.

its the same thing, tweak it ittle turnes left and right, i had to put mine way out to like 3 turns to get it to stop spluttering and farting

it runs sweat as a nut on idle thogh just on full and half throttle it poo no power at all cus of it missing and back fireing also that screw is quite lose is it surpose to be?

ermm shouldnt be loose as such should turn pretty freely shouldnt need any great force or anything can u post a pic of the screw that u have been turning lol

the fuel/air mixture screw isn't the arrowed one, it's the one above, half hidden by the rubber hose.......... ........... #sprint#

yer i know which one it is lol the one with the pointer is the drain screw lol
yer i got the plug out to day wich wasent very old and it was not too good so i put a brand spanker in much better.
i still need to play whith the mixture as when on full throttle getting tp the point where it tops out got a bit of back fireing and knocking there so will have a play when it stops raining here.
