I have got a BT50qt-9. Now its only done 150kms and was destricted from new. From standing it will accelerate to 35-38mph quite happily, however if you slow down to about 15-20mph and want to go faster again, it really struggles. It accelerates much better from rest. It also seems that with this scooter you either put the throttle on full or not at all to get the engine to respond. Does it get any better/responsive or would changing the rollers help. Some advice please

The problem your having is the main spring in the clutch is not strong enough.
Replace it with a stronger one and that will give you better acceleration in the situation your talking about.
I've got the same scooter, I have also got a new spring, just needs fitting!

Thats where I got mine from.
They are a little difficult to change, but a garage should be able to change it for you in around 30 mins.
